2. Scope and definitions

2.1. These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") apply to every order placed through the Website for delivery within Romania.

2.2. "Customer" means any natural or legal person placing an order on the Website. "Consumer" means a Customer who is a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession, within the meaning of Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance (OUG) no. 34/2014.

2.3. "Personalised product" means a product made to the Customer's specifications — e.g. with graphics, text, an uploaded image, a print colour or embroidery chosen by the Customer, including catalogue designs applied at the Customer's request to the product they choose.

2.4. By placing an order, the Customer confirms they have read and accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The version applicable to an order is the one in force when the order is placed.

3. Customer account

3.1. Orders can be placed with a customer account or as a guest.

3.2. The Customer is responsible for the accuracy of the data they provide and for keeping their password confidential. The Seller is not liable for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete data provided by the Customer.

3.3. The Customer may request deletion of their account at any time by e-mail.

4. Ordering and formation of the contract

4.1. The main characteristics of each product are shown on its product page. Images and previews (including the 2D/3D designer previews) are illustrative: on-screen shades may differ slightly from printed or embroidered colours, and garment sizes may vary by 1–3 cm depending on the manufacturer.

4.2. Technical steps: (1) choose the product, size and personalisation and add it to the cart; (2) enter billing and delivery details; (3) choose the delivery and payment method; (4) review the order summary; (5) click the order button, which creates an obligation to pay. Until step (5) the Customer can correct any entered data by going back or editing the cart.

4.3. After placing the order, the Customer receives an e-mail confirming receipt. The distance contract is formed when this confirmation is sent. The contract is concluded in Romanian, archived electronically by the Seller, and can be consulted by the Customer in the confirmation e-mail and, if they have an account, under "My orders".

4.4. The Seller may refuse or cancel an order, informing the Customer and refunding all amounts paid in full, if: the product is no longer available; the personalisation content breaches section 9; the displayed price is obviously wrong (e.g. 0 or 1 RON due to a technical error); or the Customer's data is obviously false.

4.5. Mockups: for bulk orders the Customer may request a mockup or sample; its cost is stated in the quote before acceptance.

5. Prices

5.1. Prices are shown in Romanian lei (RON) and include VAT. Delivery is not included in the product price; it is shown separately before the order is completed.

5.2. Delivery is free above the threshold shown on the Website (currently 350 RON). Cash on delivery carries an extra charge, shown separately in the cart before the order is completed (currently 10 RON).

5.3. The Seller may change prices at any time; changes do not affect orders already placed.

6. Payment and invoice

6.1. Available payment methods: (a) online card payment, processed by Stripe — card details never reach the Seller; (b) bank transfer in advance — bank details are sent in the confirmation e-mail and production starts once payment is received; (c) cash on delivery — paid in cash or by card to the courier.

6.2. The invoice is issued electronically and sent to the Customer's e-mail address. Business customers must provide their company name and valid tax number when ordering.

7. Production and delivery

7.1. Personalised products are made after the order is placed (and, for bank transfer, after payment is received). The estimated production time is shown on the product page — usually 2–7 business days depending on quantity and technique (print or embroidery) — plus 1–2 business days for courier delivery.

7.2. Delivery is made by Packeta, DPD or GLS, to the Romanian address or pickup point chosen by the Customer. In any case, the Seller delivers within 30 days of the contract being formed, unless otherwise agreed. If this deadline is missed, the Consumer may set an additional period; if that is also missed, they may terminate the contract and receive a full refund.

7.3. The risk of loss or damage passes to the Consumer when they (or a person designated by them, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods.

7.4. We recommend checking the parcel on delivery in the courier's presence and asking for a damage report if the packaging is damaged. This does not affect the Consumer's statutory conformity rights (section 10).

8. Right of withdrawal and order cancellation

8.1. The Consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 calendar days of taking physical possession of the goods (OUG no. 34/2014).

8.2. Exception — personalised products: under art. 16(c) of OUG no. 34/2014, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the Consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. Most Teezy products are personalised products, for which the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised.

8.3. Cancelling orders for personalised products: an order can be cancelled free of charge, with a full refund, until production starts. After production starts, the Seller may accept cancellation on request, retaining 20% of the product value to cover costs already incurred. Embroidered orders cannot be cancelled once embroidery has started.

8.4. How to withdraw: the Consumer sends an unequivocal statement — via the online form on the "Withdraw from contract" page (www.teezy.ro/us/retragere-contract/), by e-mail to [email protected], or using the model withdrawal form in Annex 1 to OUG no. 34/2014. The deadline is met if the statement is sent before the 14 days expire.

8.5. Effects of withdrawal: the Consumer returns the goods within 14 days of notifying us and bears the direct cost of return. The Seller refunds all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal statement, using the same payment method as the original transaction (for cash on delivery: by bank transfer to the IBAN provided by the Consumer), at no extra cost. The Seller may withhold the refund until it receives the goods back or proof they were sent. The Consumer is only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

8.6. The right of withdrawal applies to Consumers only, not to business customers.

9. Customer content and intellectual property

9.1. The Customer warrants that they hold all necessary rights (copyright, trademarks, image rights, etc.) to the images, texts and logos they upload or send for personalisation, and that using them does not infringe third-party rights. The Customer is liable for any third-party claim arising from a breach of this warranty.

9.2. The Seller may refuse to produce items whose content is illegal, incites hatred or violence, is discriminatory or pornographic, or infringes third-party rights, and will refund all amounts paid in full.

9.3. Images generated with the designer's AI tool are created at the Customer's request; the Seller does not guarantee their uniqueness, and the Customer is responsible for how they use them.

9.4. Website content (texts, graphics, catalogue designs, the Teezy logo) is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without the written consent of the Seller or the author.

9.5. The Seller operates the design platform as an intermediary information-society service provider. Uploaded content (Designers’ designs, images and text uploaded by Customers) is neither created nor reviewed in advance by the Seller, who accepts no responsibility for its legality. The uploader is liable to third parties and shall indemnify the Seller for any claim, cost or loss connected with uploaded content.

9.6. Anyone who believes that content on the Site infringes their copyright, trademark or other rights may notify the Seller via the report page (/us/report-infringement/). On a well-founded notice the content is made unavailable without delay and the uploader is informed.

10. Conformity of goods (legal guarantee)

10.1. The Seller is liable for any lack of conformity that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within 2 years of delivery, under OUG no. 140/2021 on certain aspects of contracts for the sale of goods.

10.2. In case of non-conformity, the Consumer is entitled to have the goods brought into conformity by repair or replacement, free of charge and within a reasonable time, or, as provided by law, to a proportionate price reduction or termination of the contract.

10.3. Conformity complaints should be sent to [email protected], preferably with photos of the product and the order number. Minor shade or size differences as described in section 4.1, and wear resulting from not following care instructions, do not constitute non-conformity.

11. TeezyCreator programme

11.1. Designers enrolled in the TeezyCreator programme may upload graphic designs that the Seller may print on products sold on the Website.

11.2. The Designer warrants that the designs are their own work and do not infringe third-party rights. The Designer retains copyright; the Seller acquires only the non-exclusive right to reproduce the designs on products and display them on the Website for the purpose of sale.

11.3. The Designer’s remuneration, payouts and tax treatment are governed by the TeezyCreator programme terms (/us/partner-terms/), which the Designer accepts on enrolment.

11.4. The Seller may remove at any time any design reasonably suspected of being illegal or infringing third-party rights.

12. Liability and force majeure

12.1. The Seller is not liable for delays or non-performance caused by force majeure or by third parties for whom it is not responsible, nor for temporary unavailability of the Website for technical reasons.

12.2. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights the Consumer has under mandatory consumer protection law.

13. Personal data

13.1. Customers' personal data is processed under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), as described in the Privacy Policy available on the Website (www.teezy.ro/us/privacy/).

14. Complaints and dispute resolution

14.1. Complaints can be sent to [email protected] or +40 750 279 019. The Seller responds to complaints within 30 days at the latest.

14.2. Consumers may contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), B-dul Aviatorilor nr. 72, sector 1, Bucharest, www.anpc.ro. Information on alternative dispute resolution (SAL) is available at https://reclamatiisal.anpc.ro.

14.3. As the Seller is established in Hungary, for cross-border disputes Consumers can get free assistance from the European Consumer Centre Romania (www.eccromania.ro). The alternative dispute resolution body competent for the Seller is the Budapest Conciliation Board (Budapesti Békéltető Testület), 1016 Budapest, Krisztina krt. 99, Hungary, www.bekeltetes.hu.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

15.1. Contracts with Consumers habitually resident in Romania are governed by Romanian law. Disputes with such Consumers are settled by the competent courts of the Consumer's domicile; the Consumer may also bring proceedings before the competent courts of the Seller's registered office.

15.2. Contracts with business customers are governed by Hungarian law, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the Seller's registered office.

16. Changes to these Terms

16.1. The Seller may amend these Terms; the new version is published on the Website and applies only to orders placed after publication.
